FIFE PERFORMANCE SWIMMERS COMPETE FOR SCOTLAND SQUAD 14th May 2013 Two Fife Performance Swim Squad athletes competed last weekend at the West District Open held at Dollan Baths, East Kilbride, which incorporated the yearly Celtic Tri-Nations Championship’s between Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Scottish Gas National Age Groups Championships 2013 16th April 2013 19 Swimmers from the Fife Performance Swimming Squad spent five days competing at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh in the first of this year’s Scottish National events, the Scottish Gas National Age Groups Championships. Competing in a total of 78 individual races in this age-group competition, the team went on to have finalists in 19 races picking up six Scottish National Age Group Championship titles and a bronze.

Easter Development Camps Prove a Success 15th April 2013 Fife Performance Swim Squad coaches last week delivered two three-day development camps for young swimmers from across the county as part of their commitment to continue to improve the quality of swimming across Fife.

Swimmers from across Scotland, some from as far away as the Isle of Skye, braved the miserable weather conditions on Saturday (23rd March) to travel to Dunfermline for the first ever swim meet hosted by Fife Performance Swimming Squad.

Two swimmers from the Fife Performance Swim Squad have returned home after a fabulous week of competition at the British Gas International Swim Meet in Leeds

Seven swimmers from the Fife Performance Swim Squad travelled south to the Derventio Excel Swim Meet at the Ponds Forge International Pool, Sheffield.

Outstanding performances from Fife swimmers at the weekend led to three young swimmers from West Fife schools claiming double gold’s in Scottish finals.

Swimmers from the Fife Performance Swimming Squad walked away with 15 medals after an excellent display at the West District Grand Prix, one of the major competitions on this year’s Scottish calendar.
